Meet the team behind the Inspired Precision of DCTS.
Eckhard has many years of experience in corporate administration and has been responsible for setting up the licensed corporate service business of Corsiom in the Isle of Man.
A Graduate of the University of Kiel in Germany as Diplom-Kaufmann specialising in Finance and Accountancy, he moved to the Isle of Man in 1998 and subsequently became a fully qualified member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA) and the Society of Estate and Trust Practitioners (STEP).
Eckhard has a wealth of experience and is an expert in the maritime field specialising in ship owning structures, ship sale and purchase, new build projects and ship finance.
John has over 20 years’ experience in the CSP/TSP industry and has experience with companies listed on the LSE, AIM and ISDX (previously PLUS) markets. He has considerable knowledge and experience of UK, BVI and IOM company secretarial practice, administration and statutory compliance matters and maintaining effective corporate governance with local legislation and external regulations. He has a proven record of administration of structures involving Shipping, Intellectual Property, Aviation and Real Estate holding vehicles and the administration of tailored trusts and structures according to clients’ requirements.
He holds positions as Director and Non-Executive Director of a number of Isle of Man companies and is approved by the Isle of Man Financial Supervision Commission and Isle of Gambling Commission to hold such positions. He has acted as Director of a number of large offshore service providers on the Isle of Man as well as holding the position of assistant company secretary and Group MLRO for a listed Plc with global operations.
John has an honours degree from the University of St. Andrews in Marine and Environmental Biology (1994), is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Secretaries and Administrators (1998) and a Fellow of the International Compliance Association (2005).
After graduating from Sheffield University Lynda spent the first 16 years of her professional career teaching and lecturing before attending the College of Law in 1998 and completing her legal qualifications. She was admitted as a qualified solicitor of the Law Society of England and Wales in 2001 and worked for a law firm on the Isle of Man focusing on a worldwide clientele of high net worth individuals. In 2002 Lynda joined Abacus Trust Company Limited where she held a number of posts of responsibility including administration manager for trusts and companies, compliance manager and then senior manager in the fund administration branch of the business. This was followed by seven and a half years at Fortress Management Services Limited, a corporate and trust service provider, as client administration manager.
Lynda joined DCTS in October 2016 as Corporate Services Manager bringing with her a wide range of experience of setting up and managing trust and company structures holding a variety of assets including commercial and residential property, investment portfolios, yachts and art work. Lynda’s legal and regulatory knowledge complements her practical experience of offshore structures and enables her to assist clients in finding effective solutions to meet their needs.
Outside of work, Lynda enjoys travelling, gardening and reading.
Kevin joined Döhle Corporate and Trust Services Limited in December 2015 having previously worked within the CSP environment for a number of years. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and is responsible for providing accounting services across a range of clients. In his spare time, Kevin is a keen sportsman and enjoys football and rugby.
Allister Crossley took up his role as Senior Manager of Aviation at DCTS in September 2015.
Allister has spent over seventeen years in international corporate services working with Coutts (Isle of Man) Limited, Merrill Lynch Bank and Trust Company (Isle of Man) Limited and latterly Appleby where he gained a wide range of experience including; infrastructure companies, property holding and trading structures.
In his last three years at Appleby Allister’s primary focus was on aviation and he managed aviation structures and transactions across various jurisdictions.
Allister is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and hold the ICSA Offshore Certificate.
On taking up his new position Allister said: “This is an exciting role and I am looking forward to the challenge. Döhle has been well known and respected for several years as a provider of professional services for the shipping and yachting industry and our aviation services will very much complement these - my focus will be to ensure that our offerings to the aviation industry will quickly have the same respect and renown”.
Luke graduated with a BA (Hons) in English & Politics and then went on to complete a PGCE in English. He has spent time working at the head office of Peter Döhle Schiffahrts KG in Hamburg as well as in their subsidiary office on the Isle of Man. Luke is directly involved with all vessel and yacht registrations within the Company and works closely with all departments at the Isle of Man Ship Registry.
In 2015 he became a Member of the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
Luke works on a diverse portfolio of worldwide clients and administers companies which involve property structures, travel services, and commercial vessel and yacht ownership.
Out of work, Luke is a keen sportsman in his spare time and enjoys football, tennis, golf, cricket and squash.
Grant joined the Döhle Group in 2015. Prior to joining the company, he had previously worked in a variety of financial sectors including Private banking, Stockbroking and Life Assurance.
As the Head of Compliance, Grant is responsible for all compliance and risk related matters within the company, providing support and guidance on both local and international regulation, anti-money laundering, financial crime prevention and risk management. He has considerable knowledge and experience in AEOI and fraud prevention as well as maintaining effective corporate governance within a wide range of both regulated and non-regulated structures.
Grant is the DCTSL DMLRO and acts as MLRO and Compliance Officer on a number of administered client entities, as well as being a member of the International Compliance Association.
Susana, originally from Madeira, started her career in the hotel industry. She was the Administrative Director for Regency Resorts, taking on the role of Company Secretary managing the resorts owning companies, incorporated in Madeira and in the Isle of Man.
In November 2003, Susana moved to the Isle of Man where she joined Döhle IOM Ltd as Marine Crew Operator responsible for the crew administration of 12 ships. Susana was promoted to Marketing Assistant in 2004. A year later, Susana moved within the Company to provide support to the expanding yachting division.
In 2006, she completed with “distinction” the Diploma in Ship Management - Operational Management, delivered by Lloyds Maritime Academy and in 2010, completed with “merit” the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators’ Diploma in Offshore Finance and Administration.
In 2010 Döhle Private Clients established Vantage Corporate Services to undertake corporate services for the company’s yacht owning clients. Moving to Vantage Susana took on the additional role of Compliance Officer for the company. In the same year Susana completed with merit the “Diploma in International Compliance”, delivered by the International Compliance Association.
In 2014 Susana transferred to the newly formed Döhle Corporate and Trust Services Limited..
Susana is well versed in the sale and purchase and day to day administration of superyachts working closely with owners’ project and legal teams and our Captains and has developed a close working relationship with Captains, maritime lawyers, project managers and ship registries.
Susana is a keen linguist and can communicate in six languages.
Nonna is originally from Latvia and moved to the Isle of Man in 2004 and has been working at Corsiom and DCTS since January 2007.
She has a Latvian university Bachelor Degree in Social Science and Economics. In 2010 she achieved the Diploma level with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators with a distinction level.
She is fluent in English, Latvian and Russian. Nonna has a diverse portfolio of trusts and companies for international clients engaged in property structures, investments, commercial vessels, yacht ownership and digital currencies.
She enjoys learning and improving her knowledge of the German, Polish and Spanish languages.
In her spare time she also enjoys reading, knitting, swimming, walking, photography and travelling. She is a volunteer-organiser for the baby-mother club on the Isle of Man.
Antony graduated with a BA (Hons) (Distinction) in International Business Management in 2012. He has spent the last five years working in variety of financial roles including within the banking sector and the offshore companies market here on the Isle of Man, gaining core knowledge and experience in the sector.
Antony moved to Döhle in May 2017 to provide support to the expanding aviation division and super yachts department. Antony works on a diverse portfolio of clients from all backgrounds across the globe, to provide top of the range services for a bespoke client facility.
In July 2018 he completed his STEP qualifications with a distinction. He now looks to further his knowledge into ICSA.
Outside of work, Antony is a keen sportsman in his spare time. He is currently the Manx karting champion and enjoys hockey, football, tennis, golf and squash among other things.
Nicola joined DCTS at the start of 2013 as a corporate administrator. She has a BA degree in Hospitality Management with International Marketing Management. In 2017 she achieved the Certificate level with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. Outside of work Nicola enjoys reading, walking and baking.
Sandra joined Döhle in October 2018 and is a member of the Company and Trust Services Team.
Sandra has worked within the CSP environment on the Isle of Man for over 18 years.
Sandra is responsible for providing administration services for various clients within Döhle Corporate and Trust Services Limited.
Corey joined the DCTS Compliance team in March 2018. Prior to joining the company, he had previously worked in the Commercial & Expat departments in the Banking industry.
Corey’s role within the Compliance department sees him focusing on anti-money laundering, countering the financing of terrorism and risk management.
In his spare time Corey enjoys playing basketball, competing with his team in the Isle of Man Basketball Association league.
Caroline joined the Döhle Group in 2014. She is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Prior to joining the company, Caroline worked for other Isle of Man based corporate service providers, providing accounting services to a wide range of clients. Caroline primarily works on a ship agency client group. She is responsible for the management and statutory reporting, cash flow management and forecasting for this client group.
Elize joined DCTS in September 2015 and has 12 years’ experience in audit and accountancy. She trained with KPMG South Africa and gained experience working for BP Plc London. In the Isle of Man she worked for a Real Estate Investment company and a CSP. She performs the overall accounting function across our full suite of services.
Andrea joined the Döhle Group in September 2017. She is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians and Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. Prior to joining the Döhle Group, Andrea has worked within the CSP environment on the Isle of Man for over 15 years. Andrea is responsible for providing accounting services across the whole range of clients within Döhle Corporate and Trust Services Limited.
Bruce joined Döhle Corporate and Trust Services Limited in September 2017. He is Canadian from Toronto, Ontario. He has lived on the Isle of Man since January 2001. He is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and has held previous accounting roles in a variety of sectors including Trust and Corporate, Aviation and Shipping. In his spare time he enjoys riding his motorcycle and weekend walks with the family.
Hazel joined the team in 2011 as an accounts administrator, with experience in providing accounting and VAT services for high net worth clients, particularly in the property industry. In her 7+ years with Döhle, she has since built up knowledge of the yachting and aviation industries, amongst others, and built upon her existing accounting and VAT experience. Having achieved the Certified Accounting Technician qualification in October 2017 and the Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business in July 2018, she is now working towards the final professional exams of ACCA accounting qualification as she continues to progress in her role.
Megan joined the Döhle Group in April 2019 as an Accountant. Megan is a Chartered Accountant and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales
Megan qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in the Isle of Man where she gained 5 years’ experience in audit before joining the Döhle Group.
Megan is responsible for providing accounting services for a Group of Shipping Companies.
Outside of work Megan is a keen runner, taking part in marathons and half marathons throughout the year.
Samantha graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies in 2014. Prior to joining the Döhle Group in August 2018, she spent four years in various accounting roles within the telecommunications industry. Samantha is a part-qualified accountant currently undertaking the ACCA professional exams. She achieved the ACCA Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business in January 2019. Samantha is responsible for providing accounting and bookkeeping services across Döhle’s diverse client portfolio.
Previous to joining the Döhle Group in 2007 Alison’s career started in banking and she then moved into accounting in 2001 with Manx Airlines. Alison primarily looks after the day to day running of the Company’s own accounts and those of Third Party Clients. Outside of work Alison plays the piano and church organ and spends quality time with her husband walking, socialising and holidaying and she is also Commissioner on the Local Authority Board of the Parish in which she lives.
